Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of messages do you welcome?
I’m always glad to hear from folks—whether you’re walking your own recovery road, have a question about men’s health, want to share encouragement, or just want to say hello. If it’s respectful and genuine, you’re in the right place.
Can I ask technical or IT-related questions?
Absolutely. With 30+ years in IT, I’m happy to help point you in the right direction. I can’t fix your whole network from here, but I can offer guidance, tips, and troubleshooting ideas.
Do you accept prayer requests?
Yes. If you’d like someone to pray for you or someone you care about, you’re welcome to send it. I treat those messages with respect and care.
How soon will I hear back?
I try to respond within a couple of days. Sometimes life gets busy, but I do my best to reply as quickly as I can.
Can I share my own story with you?
Please do. Whether it’s about recovery, faith, health, or just life on the backroads, I’m honored when someone trusts me with their story.
Are Peanut & Sissy real?
Yes they are—and they’re full of personality. They don’t answer emails, but they do inspire plenty of posts.
Can I collaborate with you on a project or article?
I’m open to it. Send me a message with what you have in mind, and we’ll see if it’s a good fit
Do you offer medical advice?
No. I share my own experiences as a prostate cancer survivor, but I’m not a doctor. Anything medical should always be discussed with a licensed professional.
Can I use your content on my own site or social media?
If you’d like to share something, just ask first. I’m usually happy to say yes as long as credit is given.
How can I support Backroads to Recovery?
The best support is sharing the site with someone who might need encouragement. If you want to help in other ways, there is a Donate button, or reach out if you would like other options.
